I would like to inquire for any research or studies on the percentage of male, female & herma papaya seeds per fruit. We used to sow 4-5 pricked seeds per seedbag in our nursery.Usually we just use the middle portion of the fruit as a seed source. we cut both end of the fruit and just retain about 2 inches of the middle part, wash and air-dried the seeds. Others said that in each fruit, the male, female & herma has 33% distribution. Please do validate on this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
